Starting School

The Prep students are now at school FULL TIME! It is very exciting as we navigate the classroom, the class activities, the school yard, friendliness, sharing and respect. We are learning to listen to our teachers and follow the instructions. We have completed Class Expectations to help us learn in a safe and caring environment. We are working hard on learning each other’s names. The Prep teachers will put out a weekly communication that tells parents in brief what we are learning for the week. That will start next week, please have a look at it! These photos show you how we have settled and played nicely with our new (and old) friends. We have started learning the sounds for ‘m’ and ‘s’ and hands on maths for numbers up to 10 and beyond. Thank you to all the parents for reading messages sent through Compass and having your children at school on time.
