Parent Hub

Parent Hubhas been created to help parents/carers navigate the College. Parent Hub includes information in regards to Canvas, Compass and includes other relevant parent/carer information. 

 

It is recommended that parents download the following apps in support of your child's learning.

Canvas and Compass usernames are the same. If any parent forgets their your password, just click on Forgot Password and reset it.

 

Please note that the Canvas mobile apps offer a limited view of each child's learning. The Canvas website is more detailed and provides parents with a better user experience.

Year 7 Parent / Student / Teacher Interviews

The Year 7 Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews will be held face to face on Wednesday 8th March in the College Hall from 3.30pm - 6.30pm. 

 

Further information regarding these interviews and how to book will be sent out through Compass next week.

Performance Music 2023 - Individual Brass and Woodwind Instrumental Lessons 

Welcome to all new Year 7 Students and their families! 

We are fortunate to be able to provide individual Brass & Woodwind instrumental lessons at the College. The College supports students attending their private lesson during class time. Currently we have lessons available for:  

  • Flute
  • Clarinet, saxophone
  • Trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba.

If any student is interested in lessons please complete the Music enrolment form here. Please return to the front office. After the form is returned to the College, families will be put in contact with one of our Music Teachers.

 

Students also have the opportunity to attend Concert Band (7:45am-8:45am) on Tuesday mornings or be involved in other vocal opportunities. Further information can also be found here.

A Time to Shine - CEDWW Secondary Schools Showcase

Forming part of Catholic Schools Week celebrations, the five Secondary Colleges across the Diocese will be performing an arts showcase. Please see attached for more information.

 

 

Free Parent and Carer Webinar

In collaboration with the eSafety Commissioner, the Council of Catholic School Parents NSW/ACT is offering a webinar on the topic of ‘Navigating Online Friendships’.

This 30 minute webinar will cover:

  • how to support young people to have safe and respectful online relationships
  • what to do when something happens at school and ends up on social media or private messaging apps
  • how to report to social media platforms and eSafety.

The webinar will run at 7:30 pm on Thursday 23 February and parents can register here.
