What an amazing day for the Mothers Day Lunch. The sun came out for our arrival and Elwood Bathers put on a beautiful spread for us mums. It really was fantastic day and night and I know a few of us were a little more tired than usual the next day!
A very huge thanks to all the organisers for the day including Michelle Thomas, Cass White and Kate Korber.

These fun and memorable events wouldn’t happen without our amazing volunteers.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT - SATURDAY 5th of August

DONATIONS FOR AUCTION @ PARENTS NIGHT OUT
Do you have something you can donate or know some-one that can?
We have sent out an Operoo for auction donations for the parents night out.
If you have anything for the auction, please reply to this Operoo or also let Virginia or Connie know.
It can be anything but ideas include - Holiday houses for a weekend/week, wine, chocolates, books, vouchers, children’s items, services (dental, hairdressing, facial or massage treatments etc.) cosmetics or skin care (anything any-one would like to buy).
Or if you are a regular at a business, you can ask them for a donation, we like to support and promote local businesses amongst the school community. Donations will go in our auction booklet that is distributed to all parents.
We will also be sending out a link to buy raffle tickets for our amazing prizes and you can still buy raffle tickets if you cannot attend the event.
BUNNINGS BBQ
Thanks to Natasha (Tash) Boyd for volunteering to coordinate the Bunnings BBQ with the help of foundation parents. The BBQ will be on the 30th of July at Bunnings Moorabbin. Tash will need some volunteers to turn sausages on the day and if anyone is keen also someone to oversee things. If you can help please email her on nmischefski@gmail.com.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB
Thank-you to Jess who has generously offered to take over the management of the scholastic book club from Danielle, it is much appreciated.

THANKS FROM THE PA
We are very grateful for the continued support of all our parents, the school and local community. All our PA members are volunteers who generously give up their own time to organise our school events.
Contributions from our fundraising efforts will be put towards many areas across the school. Some initial ideas that have strong support from the PA group and school community are 1) Outdoor furniture for the Tilley playground 2) Improving school security 3) Retractable cafe style blinds for the exterior of the undercover area so it can be used during hot or wet days.

- Dad’s Catch Up - every 3rd Thursday of the month. Next dads' drinks booked at 7.30pm on Thursday 15 June with the venue TBA.
