Year 4 students have been painting using pearlescent water-colour paints. 

Artists of the Month

Congratulations to our Artists of the Month for the month of May, Claire and Matilda.

Claire used paint scrapers and everyday objects to create an image of what she thought the wind would look like if we could see it. She then added glitter glue, and objects being blown around by the wind to her print.

Matildadrew several glass beakers that looked three-dimensional and used the wet-on-wet watercolour technique to make it look like there was chemicals mixing inside the beakers. She then observed the beautiful colours created when blowing bubbles and drew a bubble-filled background with soft pastels (chalks).

Performing Arts

Year 5 and 6 students have been making use of computer-based music making programs and using their ICT skills alongside their musical talents.
