Media and Technologies

Media is still buzzing with excitement as the students continue to grow their skills with technology. 

Our Year 5/6 students have started to build up their capacity with using the process of CHROMA KEY (aka green screens) to create wonderful special effect driven videos. While we are still in the early stages of learning how to utilize this technology, the students have shown a natural ability to create with the CHROMA KEY process in mind.

They have been able to film using the CHROMA colours (green, blue and red) then replace the desired colour with the intended image/video to tell their stories.

Our Media Captains have been busy experimenting with this technology to create a soon to be released Karoo News program to inform our community about exciting things around the school.

We are looking forward to see how our students' continue to utilise this process in the future and are excited to see what they create.
