Learning in J04

Junior School J04 Landolfo is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

This year, for Simultaneous Story Time, we read The Speedy Sloth.

J04 and all the Preps used this story as a Rich Vocabulary Text to focus on for the entire week. We picked out some interesting words in the book, looked at the concepts about print (such as front cover, back cover, spine, author, and where to begin reading), and read the story daily.

We also enjoyed listening to the wonderful Library Leaders read the story to us through a fantastic video.

J04 did an amazing job painting paper plates and coloured the sloth's body parts to create a sloth hanging from a tree branch. Check them out!

I am so proud of how hard J04 has worked this year. Keep it up Preps!
