Mobile Phone Policy

Roxburgh Homestead Primary School understands that students may bring a personal mobile phone to school, particularly if they are travelling independently to and from school.

Students who choose to bring mobile phones to school must have them switched off and securely stored during school hours at the office or in classroom mobile phone safes.

Critical Incident Policy

Our critical incident policy is designed to ensure prompt and effective response to any unforeseen event or emergency that may disrupt our operations or pose a risk to the well-being of our employees, clients, or the public. The policy establishes clear protocols for reporting incidents, activating emergency response teams, communicating with stakeholders, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate the impact of the incident. By adhering to this policy, we aim to minimize the negative consequences of critical incidents and prioritize the safety and security of all individuals involved.

School Uniform Policy

Our school uniform policy requires all students to adhere to a specific dress code in order to maintain a conducive learning environment and foster a sense of unity and equality among students. The policy outlines the approved attire, including specific clothing items, colors, and accessories, while also providing guidelines for grooming and appearance. By implementing this policy, we aim to promote a sense of belonging, eliminate distractions, and encourage a focus on academic achievement, while also instilling discipline and a sense of pride in our school community.

Complaints Policy

Our school's complaint policy is designed to provide a fair and transparent process for addressing concerns and grievances raised by students, parents, or staff members. The policy outlines clear procedures for reporting complaints, including designated points of contact, timelines for response and resolution, and mechanisms for escalation if necessary. We are committed to thoroughly investigating and addressing complaints in a timely manner, with the goal of promoting a positive and supportive learning environment for all stakeholders involved.
