Senior Athletic Sports

Well done to all of our fabulous Grade 3/4s for their efforts during our Senior Athletic Sports day! It was wonderful to see students display our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience as they competed against each other. A massive thankyou also to Mr Smith for all of the effort he put into organising this event for us!

Camp - Week 9 (21st - 23rd, June)

Camp is fast approaching and we are all very excited! Please return your medical forms to your child's teacher as soon as possible so that the campsite can be notified about dietary requirements, etc. More information about cabins, activities, etc. will be released in the next few weeks.

Learning in Weeks 7 & 8

Mathematics: This fortnight, students will continue to explore 'Fractions' during our Fluid Group sessions. In Applied Maths we will be constructing a variety of 3D shapes and identifying their key features.

Writing & Reading: In Writing, students will be focusing on writing Procedural texts, making sure to include a title, materials/equipment, step by step instructions and imperative verbs (actions words). In Reading, we will be learning a few comprehension strategies including how visual elements such as photographs, diagrams and illustrations can help us to learn more about the text.

Topic: In the last few weeks of our 'Into the Unknown' unit, students will be designing either a poster or a PowerPoint presentation to present to the rest of the class. We look forward to each student sharing what they have learned about their explorer this term!
