A message from the Spring Gully Primary School OSHC Coordinator- Kylie

Just a brief round-up of the last couple of weeks, to share with the Spring Gully P.S. community, what we've been doing in OSHC...

So many creative activities! Far too many to mention all. Some of these though, are; decorating butterflies, colouring mandalas and card making. Soon we will be painting an OSHC Mural on some recycled cardboard with acrylic paint, for some colourful fun! At OSHC we always have creative activities to participate in and there'll be plenty more with our Big Art Weeks, coming up!

We have also had some discussion about Sorry Day and Reconciliation, and what this means to us. We have talked about how we can help build a brighter future for everyone. A future where all people feel respected and represented. We know that this all starts with us... so, to show recognition and pay respect, we have made some beautiful 'hand art', which will be displayed on our art board, to represent our acknowledgement of a community effort towards reconciliation. Please feel free to drop by and see our display of hand art, next week.

What's new at OSHC? We have introduced a homework help table, where children can complete homework, if they need to and have assistance from our helpful OSHC staff.

Remember too, bookings for Rocketeers are open, for the coming school holidays with plenty of exciting activities to keep the young ones entertained. Please see the posters on both the office window and on our OSHC door.

Until next time, thank you again for supporting Camp Australia at Spring Gully P.S.
