A Message from Hannah & Keir

We would like to acknowledge and honour the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We pay our respects to all First Nations elders, past present and emerging.
Open Day
BNWPS are now taking enrolments for Foundation 2024, We would love to chat to any prospective families who would like to enroll at BNWPS in 2024. If this applies to your family, or anyone that you know, please give our office a call to organise a tour with some of our senior students and a chat with Hannah or Keir.
For any interested families, this Thursday (25th May) is the BNWPS Open Day. We are running two very special sessions for any prospective 2024 Foundation students and their families. The daytime session will take place at 9.30 am, and the evening session will take place at 5.30 pm. The sessions will begin with a very special story time in the library and will be followed by an exploration and collection activity that will be lots and lots of fun. We would love any prospective 2024 students to come along and take part. See you there!
Annual Report
Here is a copy of our school’s 2022 Annual Report, which was attested after our last School Council meeting. This document shares some of the academic achievements of our students, data on the school’s culture and climate as well as a snapshot of our financial performance and helps inform the school’s annual implementation plan.
Boite Choir
On Sunday a passionate group of BNWPS students braved the cold to attend the first Boite Choir rehearsal at the Abbotsford Convent. Led by Stella and Deb, the students did a great job of singing the familiar songs they had practiced at school and even learned a couple of new ones. These songs are a mix of traditional and contemporary from the Torres Strait. The final Sunday rehearsal will take place on 30th of July and the concert will take place the following Thursday.
