Year 5 / 6 News

Graffiti Prevention Program

The Year 5 & 6 students were highly entertained by Xavier from the Boroondara Council’s Graffiti Prevention Program. 

‘Through the program, students learn self respect, learning to say no and be an up-stander - also helping the students to understand the consequences of their actions and how that affects them and their community.’ 

Year 1 - Lego with the BIG boys from St Kevin's

On Thursdays this term we have been fortunate enough to host a number of year 10 students from St Kevin's College as part of their community service programme. Thus far the boys have been engaging with our students on the playground and helping out in classrooms across the school.

This week the Year 10 students joined me for a digitech session in one of our Year 1 classes. After the Year 1 students finally came to terms with how 'huge' the boys were, they all clamoured for them to help them with their Spike Lego builds. The boys did a great job with a demanding task. 

We look forward to having the boys back again during the course of the term.

Foundation Lego Gallery
