Diocesan Swimming Carnival

Last Thursday, a small cohort from Sacred Heart participated in the Diocesan Swimming Carnival held in Gunnedah. This carnival had swimmers from all over the Armidale Diocese. All children gave 100% with many achieving personal best times.

Well done Dougie, Xanthia, Molly, Grace, Oscar, Coen, Evie and Felicity.

 

Congratulation to our Small School Relay Team consisting of Evie, Coen, Oscar and Felicity on gaining selection to represent the Armidale Diocese at NSW Catholic Primary Sport (Polding) at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC) on 22nd March. 

 

Special mention to Felicity Gough for qualifying for two individual events and receiving the Senior Girl Champion trophy on the day.

 

All of the students showed exemplary behaviour and were a pleasure to be with for the day.  A wonderful day was had by all - Sacred Heart…. The best in the West!!

Polding Tennis

POLDING Tennis was held last Friday in Tamworth. A huge congratulations to Molly for representing Sacred Heart and the Armidale Diocese at this event. Molly had a lovely day playing tennis and has earnt the position of first reserve for the PSSA Championships. Well done Molly!
