Year 7 Laboratory Safety Project

At the start of Term, students in the Year 7 Science program learned how to work safely in the laboratory. To demonstrate their understanding of the safety rules, every student was required to design an engaging presentation that illustrates a warning or preventative message that highlights the danger of not following the rules.

Each teacher chose the top three presentations from their individual class and nominated them for the top six prizes. The Year 7 Science teachers, along with other staff members in the Science office, deliberated and determined the top six entries across the whole cohort, which were announced at the end-of-term assembly.

The winners, who received a $20 Readings voucher each, were:

  • Marco P – 3D Model
  • Twinkle R – 3D Poster
  • Leroy L – Stop Motion
  • Zach F – Video
  • Will F – Video
  • Mindil S – Song
