Interschool Sport
On Friday 18th March, the Year 5/6's participated in District Interschool Sport with 8 other schools. We had a wonderful day both in regards to the weather and that many of our teams were successful. In Loaded Softball, both teams got into the Grand Final and were runners-up. In Rounders both teams played each other in the Grand Final and came 1st and 2nd. In Kanga Cricket both teams played each other in the Grand Final and came 1st and 2nd and in Basketball both teams did their best.
I would like to thank all the parents who supported us on the day and the teachers who did an amazing job coaching. All of our teams worked hard together and were very supportive to other schools, they represented COHR with pride.
District Tennis
You may have seen some tennis competitions after school in the last few weeks. I would like to congratulate Lara and Ethan who represented our school in the District Tennis and will now go onto Division level, next term. A special mention to Juliette and Roy who also tried out and to Allegra who was unable to attend on the night.
Cross Country
Congratulations to the children in Years 3-6 who have been training on a Thursday morning from 8-8:30am, for the District Cross Country, which is on May 17th next term. It is wonderful to see their efforts and commitment each week, as they strive to improve.
Yours in Sport,
Mrs Sue Tobin
