Learning & Teaching in 3/4G

A snapshot of learning in 3/4G

In 3/4G we have been busy in the School Vegetable Garden. John Bernardo needed our help to harvest the pumpkins and zucchinis. After we picked them we also had a bit of a Maths lesson!

John asked everyone to estimate how much they thought each pumpkin weighed before we measured it. We then decided how much we should charge people in our school community to buy each pumpkin. We didn’t want to charge more than the big supermarket companies so we thought $2 per kilogram would be a great price. What a bargain!

Make sure you come and buy the pumpkins and zucchinis from the office this week. We also planted some potatoes so keep an eye out for some tiny sprouts popping up in the next few weeks.
