Year 7 Camp

An overview of each of the camp groups from participating students.

Camp with Ms Ta and Ms Molina! On week 4 Monday, 7ABCG were heading off to Arrabri lodge in Warburton. On the bus we got to watch a High School Musical which was fun because we were all singing even Mr Sinclair was singing. When we were got there, we got to see the camp, found out our cabin and secret sister. Our peer support leaders were there which made it very fun. Also another funny thing was every time one of the teachers said the word (mine) they had to do ten push up. All the activities were very fun. I can say we were very productive all the time. We got to see reptiles at the end which was a good way to end our amazing camp journey!!

Camp was an awesome experience for the year 7s. 7A,B,C & G went on Monday 21 February to Wednesday 23 February and 7D,E,F & H went from Wednesday 23 February to Friday 25 February to Arrabri Lodge. There were so many fun activities we did like the giant wwing, flying fox, swimming, mini golf, archery, sensory rrail, rock climbing, wellbeing, river walk, gold panning, reptile show, night walk, mini Olympics run by the year 10 peer support leaders and a cabin dance (also held by the year 10s). We also got some free time and in that free time we could walk around the campsite, hang out in your cabin, play in the basketball, tennis and volleyball court or have a shower.

We had lots of delicious meals! For breakfast there was cereal, toast, pancakes and hash browns; for lunch we had rolls with different meats and salad options; and at dinner there were hot chips, lasagna, salad, chicken schnitzel, steamed egetables and potatoes. We all really enjoyed the experience and made memories that will last forever. We would certainly recommend the camp.

We would like to thank the teachers, staff, year 10 peer support leadesr and Ms Witt for planning and taking us on this amazing camp and making great lasting memories and new friendships.
