State selections - Hockey

Congratulations to Hailey Crebbin (year 9) selected in Hockey Victoria's Under 15 Girls team to compete in the Australian Championships at Newcastle in April. Good luck to Hailey and the team. Go Vics! 

State selection - Cricket 

Congratulations to Isla Mattsson (year 7) who has been selected for the Victorian Girls Under 12 cricket team. She was presented with her baggy blue cap at the MCG prior to an international T20 game earlier in the month. This was a follow-up to Isla's selection in 2021 to a School Sport Victoria's Australian Football Girls Under 12 team. A multi-sport talent. Well done Isla! 

Still making music 

ormer students Rachel Butler (College Captain, 2017) and Reina Trias (Funkadelics) have continued making and creating music after their active involvement with the MGSC music program. Rachel and Reina were year 12 students when the class of 2022 were in year 7.
