Senior School

Our Year 11 Camp this year (28 Feb - 2 Mar) carried the themes of Resilience, Leadership, and Relationship Building. Our students portrayed these three themes and, our college values of Respect, Responsibility, Personal Best and Sense of Community and did our school proud during the three days at Phillip Island.

Was there an activity where you best illustrated one of our school values; respect, responsibility, personal best or sense of community?  Why?

 

"The giant swing demonstrated my personal best as I pushed myself to go to the top which was something I hadn't done since Year 3."Oliver B.

 

"Raft building - I took the initiative to help finish the raft while everyone was struggling." (sense of community) Lewis K.

"Sense of community, when doing the team rescue we communicated and worked as a team." Ruby G-R.

"I think raft building was an activity where the entire group tried our personal best. Towards the end, the other team helped the losing team which is a sense of community."Ryan Q.

What was the highlight of the camp for you?  Why?

 

"The Penguin Parade, because the walk was nice and the penguins were nice to see." Petros M.

 

"The giant swing because I didn't go on it with my group, but I decided I wanted to go on it the next day and Mrs Arneil helped me do that."Phoebe L.
