MCA Bus Policy Update

Translink has developed a Code of Conduct for School Students Travelling on Buses Policy with support from Brisbane Bus Lines. Both services operate bus transport for students at Marist College Ashgrove. All school students are required to comply with the code of conduct when travelling on buses as well as the College student behaviour expectations.

Families with students using school bus services should familiarise themselves with the document link provided below, particularly pages 11 – 12 referring to categories of misconduct.

Students and use of face masks travelling to and from College

As noted in last weeks app message, students who are 12 years or older and are travelling to school via public transport including waiting at a station or stop, are required by Queensland Health to be wearing a face mask.

Translink have confirmed that students who complete all stages of their travel on MCA student only school designated routes are not required to wear a mask when on a bus.
