Ahrnez Safiti:

Hi, my name is Ahrnez. When I first started at Staughton, I thought that High School would be like prison and that once you get to class there will be pop quizzes, assessments and essays, one test after another, but fortunately it wasn’t. Well not yet. Once I’d gotten comfortable with high school, it was awesome but I had to admit it was very scary seeing students taller and stronger than you as well as different, bigger environment. Staughton College has amazing curriculums and very interesting subjects like systems engineering, food tech, VCD etc. My favourite moment/experience in high school so far was my Year 7 camp which took place at Camp Marysville. It was my favourite moment because I met new and interesting people and made new friendships along the way, as well as learnt cool survival techniques for when you’re out in the wild. I am now half way through Year 7 and so far, I’ve had a blast. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me at Staughton College.

Gemma Reid:

Hey, I’m Gemma and I’m in 7 SEAL. Personally I think becoming a Student Leader has been my best high school decision so far. Being part of the leadership team has brought me and others a lot of laughs and smiles. It has been a good way to make new friends and get to know both teachers and students. It made me feel more comfortable coming to school and helped me deal with the change since I knew people I could go and have a good laugh with.

Isuri Kiriella:

Hi, my name is Isuri Kiriella and I am a Year 7 Student Leader here at Staughton College. My experience so far has been very supportive, as there have been many staff and students that have helped me throughout the year. To be honest, primary school is very similar to high school, it's just that here you have to change classrooms depending on the subject, but on the bright side you actually get more privileges. I’ve had a really fun and enjoyable time so far, and I can't wait for the upcoming future events and experiences.

Lizzy Masinamua:

Hey, I’m Lizzy and my first few terms here at Staughton College have been a blast! I have gained more knowledge and made new friends. Like most kids, I always assumed high school was a big scary place where I would never be able to make friends or fit in, but I was wrong. School has been very enjoyable, and it has not been at all bad. Not only can we make friends with other students but I have even made friends with teachers like Miss Elly Ho. She is kind, encouraging and funny. High school has been full of surprises and things I didn’t expect for me, like being chosen as a Student Leader was very unexpected but I will put this privileged to good use in our Staughton College.

Eshan Kondo:

Hey there! I’m Eshan from 7C and my time at high school so far has proven to be better than expected. Becoming a Student Leader was not just an achievement, as most people would look at it, but also a great experience so far! I feel like I have been accepted in this school by so many people from students to teachers and everyone in between and it’s what motivates me to get ready for school every morning.
