Chess Tournament
The 2021 Frankston High School Chess Tournament took place over seven weeks last term and concluded on Wednesday 16 June. There were 32 players involved across two divisions.

Congratulations as well to all participants for having a go and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The Chess Club Captains would also like to express their gratitude to friends and spectators alike who joined in the fun and cheered on the participants.
The Chess Club would like to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of its chess captains James Campbell (Year 10), Ruslan Laishev (Year 10) and Noah Sauvola (Year 10) for organising and managing the tournament from start to finish.
We would also like to extend an invitation to any interested chess players to come out and join the club. We meet every Tuesday and Wednesday in the library. Members come and go as they please and participation in tournaments is voluntary.
