Welcome back to the Performing Arts page! We hope you are all keeping safe and managing to find some time to continue to be creative geniuses! We are counting down the days till we can all be back in the physical spaces and even though it may look different we are excited to put all your hard remote learning working into action. 

Update on GALA 2021

So much work has gone into the event GALA and I can now update you all that it will be filmed and then go live before the end of November. We are currently working with a production company and students to pivot our initial idea onto a digital platform and we are sure it will blow your socks off! There will be more updates on our socials so keep your eyes peeled. We know that this event will not only showcase our amazing and talented students but also be a celebration and a great way to start wrapping up the year. 

Remote learning

Once again we are all so proud of how students in the arts have continued to engage with the work on Microsoft teams and also how they are problem solving the complexities of having to do practical subjects online. From amazing storyboards in Drama to learning new content on notation and pitch in Music, you should all give yourselves a big pat on the back for how committed you are to the learning in these spaces. 

We can’t wait to see all your faces in real life soon, the countdown is on so dust off your sparkly jackets and bring your best attitudes back into what is going to be a great end to a difficult year. Practical sessions will be happening in these spaces so we can put all the theory into real life and create learning that matters by doing.
