ISQua Conference Locations and Partners
ISQua is delighted to confirm the locations and partners of our future International Healthcare Conferences from 2021 to 2024.
We will hold our 38th International Conference in the vibrant and dynamic city of Brisbane in Australia. Australia was the original home of ISQua’s Secretariat from 1995 to 2008 and our 6th (1989) & 16th (1999) International Conferences were held in Melbourne, Australia. With over 13% of our membership from Australia alone, we know this will be a conference not to be missed!
Our partners for 2021 are the AGPAL Group of Companies and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. Dates and location for this conference have been confirmed and we look forward to welcoming you to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3rd – 6th October 2021.
2022 will see us, for the first time, hosting our annual conference in Seoul, South Korea. ISQua will join forces with the Korean Society for Quality in Health care (KoSQua) to host ISQua’s 39th International Conference in Seoul, the capital and heart of Korea’s culture, education, politics and economy. Seoul offers a myriad of attractions for all to enjoy. KoSQua are a long-time member of ISQua and share our goal to improve health care quality and patient safety.
Our 40th International Conference, in 2023, will be held in the unique city of Istanbul, Turkey which bridges the modern with the traditional. Istanbul not only physically bridges the Bosporus strait to join Europe and Asia, but it also does so philosophically, religiously and culturally. This will also coincide with the centenary of the Republic of Turkey. Our partner for this conference is the Institute of Turkey Quality and Accreditation in Health - TUSKA. TUSKA are one of only two Turkish organisations with accreditation from the ISQua External Evaluation Association (IEEA).
Our 2024 conference will see us returning to Latin America and Brazil. Previous conferences held in Latin America included our 9th (1992) Conference in Mexico City, Mexico; 18th (2001) in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and 31st (2014) Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2024 our 41st International Conference will be held in São Paulo, Brazil with our partner organisation, Organização Nacional de Acreditação – ONA. This will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the founding of ONA. The National Accreditation Organization (ONA) is responsible for the development and management of Brazilian health quality and safety standards, and are also accredited by the ISQua External Evaluation Association (IEEA).
