A Beautiful Day - Musical Production Update

It’s a beautiful day, the sun is shining, and it’s revving up for our musical production as Term 4’s busy rehearsal schedule gets underway! Cast members have been preparing their songs and learning lines over the break, ready to jump into their scenes full swing!

Last week students had their measurements taken with Ms A-G & Ms Millar (thanks to the assistance of Chantal & Evie!), and over the weekend Ms A-G received generous support from our local Beaumaris Theatre Company when Sam Davies invited her to come over and borrow costumes from their extensive wardrobe. We are so tremendously grateful to our wonderful community! Ms Yucel will now begin putting it all together as she manages the costumes. Mr Gray has been designing the set and over the next few weeks, with the help of our creative students, the drama space will be transformed! Students will be called on board for prop making - please come and join the fun!

Ms A-G has been thrilled with how the scenes are taking shape and with the help of Mr Robinson, Ms Millar, Ms Yucel and Mr Seddon, students will be rehearsing during scheduled lunchtimes throughout the week. Some students with speaking & singing roles will be required to attend 8am rehearsals on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. All students are reminded to check their new Term 4 schedules, keep up to date with messages on Teams, and communicate any absences. Ms A-G will post notes on Compass so students should look out for them and come to following rehearsals well prepared.
