First Aid in 1/2RM

At TCS on Tuesday the 8th of May students participated in First Aid Training. In Grade 1/2 we began by looking at the contents of a first aid bag and discussing what each item would be used for. We then ran through what to do in an emergency and how to call for help. We looked at pictures that showed different situations where first aid might be needed and we discussed how we could help in these situations. At the end of the session students were given a certificate of participation, a colouring book and emergency card for them to fill out with an adult and place on their fridge in case they ever need to call the emergency services.
