What's happening in the Grade 3 and 4 corner?
It’s hard to believe we are into week 7 already. The first couple of weeks we have been focusing on getting to know each other and building our relationships. Our first writing genre focussed on Persuasive and now our focus is Narrative. We have been delving into the structure of a narrative (opening, character, conflict and resolution) Students have enjoyed focusing on the reading comprehension strategy ‘visualising’. Our Maths focus has primarily been on number, place value, counting and addition, with attention to building different strategies to approach the question including, jump, split and regrouping.
