Assembly 

This week we heard from our grade 2/3 class and how they had re-imagined the book Magic Beach by Alison Lester.

Practising their writting and drawing skills we heard how each student imagined their Magic River.

At our river, at our magic river, I walk into the water and swim.  Floating, kicking, looking under the water, watching until the daylight is dim.  - Charlie

At our river, at our magic river, we go diving and swimming in the grey. Jumping and splashing and looking for sparkly gfish all day. - Henry. O

Our magic river.  At our river, at our magic river, we swim in the beautiful river for hours, splashing and diving and searching for shells, and building big towers. - Roxie

At our river, at our magic river, we swim and dive and float.  Playing all day in the sparkling water, we can fish and beat. - Aislynn

Thanks to our weekly hosts, our year 5 and 6 students.  Each week you set up and prepare for our Friday assembly.  Your effort and time are noticed and appreciated.

Family and friends are welcome to attend our assemblies on Monday (in the under-cover area) and Fridays (in the BER building).  Please note that ALL visitors to school grounds must comply with current COVID guidelines.  If you are unwell, please refrain from attending.
