Team App

Calrossy Team app has been a valuable source of communication for parents, players and coaches. With the introduction of  The HUB in 2019, there is no longer a need for Calrossy to use Team App. Therefore, as of the beginning of Term 2, we will be closing Calrossy Team App.  All sporting information and notifications will be done via The HUB. Please ensure that you join the specific sports your child or children are playing, as this will allow you to receive all of the published information.

Bill Turner Cup

Our Under 15 Boys football team played their first game of the year together last week. They went up against a red hot Oxley Team, which ran away with three quick goals in the first half. Our boys managed a much better second half with several attempts on goal but eventually went down four - nil. It was a great effort by the team and wonderful to see lots of new Year 7 faces, hopefully paving the way for future successes. A big thanks to Stephen Lawson for giving up his time training the team and the older Year 9  boys for their leadership.

Calrossy Rugby Boys Representative duties

Good luck to Calrossy boys Mitch Watts and Flynn Bowyer who are representing NSW Country Junior Rugby Union for their Cockatoo’s North American Tour these holidays.  

The boys will be playing games in Canada on Vancouver Island, then travelling to San Francisco and Los Angeles where they will also play two matches. 

Calrossy Swimmers at Australian Age Championships

Calrossy students Patrick Bolte and Alex Hayes will be competing at the Australian Age Swimming Championships which get underway in Adelaide this week.  Alex is the youngest of the contingent from Tamworth and will swim in the 13-years girls 100m and 200m breaststroke, and said she is very proud to represent on the national stage.

"Competing at nationals and representing Tamworth City really shows what hard work can do," she said.

Patrick Bolt will compete in the 14-17-years 4 x 100m medley relay, in what will be another first for the Tamworth City Swimming Club.
