What's happening at CHPS

Sports News
Interschool Sport
Last week our two teams played their Interschool Sports games. Both teams are doing very well, having lots of fun and learning new things.
Results:
Red Team played against Antonio Park. CHPS won their games of both Boys and Girls Cricket, Boys and Girls Teeball and Volleybounce. They had a Draw in both the Boys and Girls Basketball. Well done to the Teeball Boys Team who assisted Antonio Park in playing Teeball, as they were not sure of the rules. After a couple of innings, our boys mixed the teams up to assist them and were given some wonderful positive comments from the parents of APPS. Well done boys!
Blue Team played against Holy Spirit. CHPS won their Hot Shots games and the Boys and Girls Teeball.
This week the Red Team play against Heathmont East and the Blue Team play against Ringwood North.
Year 3 & 4 House Athletics Sports
On the last Wednesday of the Term, April 3rd, we are holding the Middle School Athletics at the Ringwood Athletics Track. Thankyou to parents who have already paid and given consent for their child to attend. If you have not yet done so, can I ask that you please address this as soon as possible. We also would love to hear from more parents who will be able to assist on this day. These days cannot be run without the assistance of many parents and at this stage there have not been many volunteer at all. If we could please have some volunteers to help us with the finishing line we would really appreciate it, so that the day can run smoothly for the children.

RCH Appeal - Free Dress Friday 5/4
On Friday April 5th the
Junior School Council is promoting the Good Friday Appeal
On the last day of term, students are encouraged to wear free dress to school to support the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Please bring a gold coin donation to support this worthy cause.
The money goes towards a very worthy cause, raising funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital. Every year, thousands of children are admitted to The Royal Children’s Hospital, as well as those children treated in emergency. The Royal Children Hospital relies heavily on donations, so please dig deep and support the cause!
