Lapathon Reflection

I loved the lapathon because I got to walk around the park with my friends and there were beautiful trees everywhere. I saw a family of magpies singing and some starlings. I also saw a family of ducks with four fluffy ducklings and they were so cuuuuuuuuute!

The Lap-a-thon was tiring because I ran eight laps! I’m proud of myself for achieving this. I like Lap-a-thon because you can run multiple laps with your friends and because you can join “Stampedes”. After my first lap, I was so tired but I didn’t drink surprisingly.

I liked the lapathon because this time I needed to do the whole entire park. Last time I only needed to do half.  I think I did well on my first time because I got 11. So am happy what score I got. I think all my friends did well too. To get to the park we needed to walk there. We also needed to do the same on the way back. Also, we needed to wear our hat and needed to bring a water bottle. When we got back we had hot lunch.

I think a did a great job at the lap-a-thon and I tried my best. I am very proud and I think my family will be proud too. I am quite happy with the number of laps I did today which was 9. On my first lap, I felt confident and I knew I could do it. But before the lap-a-thon, I felt quite nervous. In the end, I was very tired and sort of out of breath but to my surprise, I didn’t drink that much.

I enjoyed the Lapathon because I pushed myself to do the best I could. I felt excited when the siren went, I felt the air speeding past me though at the start my legs were sore but I kept on going and I forgot about it. I ran with Harvey and Charlie a quarter way through but when it got to half way Charlie wasn’t there so it ended up being Harvey and I. At the end it was awesome Harvey and I got 13 laps!
