Online safety – The Parents Website webinar

With the issue of the online safety of young people at the forefront of our minds this week, ISV is hosting a webinar for parents and carers on the subject this coming Monday, 14 September, between midday and 1.00 pm.

Virtual Childhoods – keeping our kids safe online will be presented by Caroline Ellen, a social worker, parenting coach and founder of Stronger Safe Kids. The event is free, but registration is essential. Full details are available on The Parents Website. This is the latest in a series of webinars presented by ISV’s The Parents Website to support parents, carers and their families during these challenging times.

In this webinar for parents and carers, Caroline Ellen will discuss how to pay close attention to what your kids are doing online and how to have regular conversations with your child about online safety. Caroline will also discuss how to explain that just because things are happening online, it doesn’t make them any less real. She will help you formulate an action plan for your family.
