Congratulations to Swimming Blue and Silver Award Recipients
Last Friday we presented the Blue and Silver Colours for our Summer Sports. These are the first of our prestigious Colour Awards which recognise excellence, commitment and service by students in their respective co-curricular activities. The groups presented last week were Basketball, Cricket, Drama, Music and Swimming, up to and including our Year 11 students.
At this Friday's Assembly we will present the Blue and Silver Colours for our Winter Sports. In Week 9 we will recognise our Year 12 Colours recipients for all co-curricular activities, culminating in the Gold Awards.

Just another reminder about our SPX Tennis Championships. As you know, the remaining rounds of the ISA Competition have been cancelled. As such, we will be running a one day intra-school tournament.
All ISA Tennis players are expected to participate. Should a player be unable to attend due to illness, injury or another commitment, I ask that parents let me know as soon as possible.
This tournament will run on the morning of Week 7 - Saturday, September 5 2020 at our home courts at Love ‘n’ Deuce at Talus St, St Leonards.
The tournament will be a Round Robin competition for each Division, comprising of one set per round, so players will each play 4-5 sets. The winner of each Division will be awarded a trophy as Divisional Champion.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, only ONE spectator per player will be permitted at the courts and that spectator will be required to register their details. No morning tea will be provided so players will need to bring their own snack and water bottle.
Should you have any queries, please contact me via email at aobrien@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au or via text message on 0404 695 757.
