Parents and Friends

Family Fun Night - Only One Week To Go!

Helping Hands - There's only one week to go until everyone's favourite school event, the Family Fun Night, kicks off at 5pm! Unfortunately we still need some helpers, so keep an eye out for the volunteer list in the school admin window and help us fill in the gaps! To those of you who have already offered your support thank you so much - you guys rock!

Fabulous Food - Along with the amazing activities, we are all looking forward to enjoying the equally amazing food, which will be supplied by Nunzio’s Mobile Pizza, Hey Pesto and the new kid on the bitumen - Prespa Souvlaki. OLA Canteen will be selling ice-creams to satisfy the sweet tooths. All food trucks will accept both Eftpos and cash but only cash in the canteen please. Please see the menus below to start planning your feast! Please note, Hey Pesto will have gluten free options available.

Things to remember - Like all events at school, this is a ball free zone. Please also note the following:

- Bring change and small notes for the raffle, fairy floss and ice cream

- Entry will only be from the main school gate on Chester Avenue

- BYO alcohol is allowed. You may also bring your own picnic dinner if preferred

- The raffle will be a 50/50 raffle, and the prize is cash! The more tickets sold, the bigger the prize. Tickets will be available at the school gate as you enter the event

- If you see that rubbish bins are full, please try to take rubbish home with you or find another bin, please don't leave rubbish on the ground next to a full bin for others to clean up

- Many hands make light work, so if you can help the P&F clean up at the end of the night it would be much appreciated

The Fathering Project in 2019

The Fathering Project will kick off again for 2019 soon. At the last meeting, many of the dads provided their contact details and new Assistant Principal, Mike Morris, will be in touch with you soon. For anyone who missed out on the last meeting and would like to be involved in this important community group, please email pandf@ola.wa.edu.au so we have your contact email.

Class Representatives

Most classes still need a parent to be the Class Representative. This is a simple job but one that greatly helps the P&F committee achieve our school’s P&F goals of bringing the community together and raising money to give our kids the best facilities and opportunities possible. Please consider helping out. Your time will be appreciated.

Next P&F Meeting

Please note, the first P&F meeting of the year will take place next Tuesday 19 February in the Staffroom. Meeting begins at 7.30pm. We hope to see you there.
