YEAR 9 INDIGENOUS STUDIES - RESEARCH AND RECORD!

Last term the Indigenous Studies class had to select a topic of interest and research thoroughly to create an oral informative text (a podcast!). Students selected a topic that links to Indigenous Australians prior to colonisation; celebrating the rich culture of our continent.

Where possible, they researched the Kulin Nation. The Kulin Nation is made up of five Aboriginal groups that cover most of Victoria. This task is inspired by Aboriginal Australian Culture, who don't use an alphabet, instead communicating great knowledge through oral storytelling, helping to keep culture strong and to create strong bonds between the different generations. We hope you enjoy listening and learning!
