U7 GS Stars

We got off to an awesome start cementing in great play and some fantastic intercepts in the centre and defensive court. You are all starting to shine in your positions and really grasping the play and how to move the ball quicker down the court.

The movement around and into the goal circle is really starting to improve also. Keep it up girls!

Scorers:  Ayla (8) and Piper (1).

U11 GS Lightning Bolts

The GS Lightning Bolts had their first win of the season beating the Heritage Opals 10 to 8. It was a tight, hard fought game and the girls played very well defensively with some great intercepts during the game. Goals were scored by Acacia with great support in the circle from Zahli. A big thanks goes to Ashley for filling in. Keep up the hard work and efforts!

U10 GS Rockets

Our Rockets team were ready and fired up to face the opposition team from Prescott last night. We started very strongly and displayed teamwork by passing the ball really well between each other.

Our defence was once again solid in their half and Luke was exceptional at intercepting the ball and passing it around, and scored a goal as well.  Well done Luke!  Tatum scored, as well as getting a foul shot.  Well done Tatum!

All of the boys had a go at taking shots, and well done to Kareem who scored last night. Harry shot a goal from the edge of the circle and was delighted.

We walked away with a win of 35-5.

Scorers:  Divan (14 pts), Kareem (2 pts), Tatum (3 pts), Ashrith (12 pts), Luke (2 pts) and Harry (2 pts).

U8 GS Thunder

The Thunder faced the CH Cubs this week.  Play was a bit shaky in the first half even though energy levels were high. Ronil had some good scoring opportunities, Downey was focussed all game, and Hadassah executed four or five ruthless steals.  Passing was much better in the second half - good effort, Thunder!  Keep looking for the open players and practising your defensive skills.

Scorers: Downey (2pts) and Kohen (1pt)

Scorers: Micah (9 pts), Kadin (8 pts), Alistair (2 pts), Jacob (2 pts), Jaxon (2 pts), Wian (2 pts).
