Mr Butts' Announcements
Farewell Harris
I am sad to announce that Harris Dickason, our school counsellor won't be at St Mary's in 2022. He has taken up a position at the Greater Shepparton Secondary College. We will be giving Harris and all of our departing staff a farewell at our end of year assembly.
Orientation Day
Unfortunately due to our current Covid situation, orientation day did not take place as normal yesterday. The children were however able to meet the teacher for next year and share some time online with their classmates for 2022.
End of year Liturgy
Our end of year liturgy is taking place on Friday. A link will be sent out to all families to watch online.
Final Assembly
At our final assembly for the year on Monday we will be farewelling staff and families that are leaving the school. We will also be handing out some special end of year awards. A link for this assembly will also be sent out to families to watch at home.
Covid Restrictions
As mentioned last week, we are doing everything we can to avoid a whole school lockdown in the event of a school
Covid case. We have restricted student movement and have an action plan ready to enact if required. If a student is tested positive, it is crucial that I am informed as soon as possible. Please contact me at school or email over the weekend.

Week 9 Zoe Williams
Zoe has always been a very reliable student who completes jobs and tasks in and out of the classroom at a high standard. She has great organisation skills in the classroom - and always gets herself organised for the day ahead. Zoe is happy & cheerful when she arrives at school each morning. Always willing to have a conversation with the teachers. Thank you for being such an excellent role model Zoe!
Week 10 Ella Davkovski
Ella is a super helpful student who is very respectful to adults, always greeting people with a smile each day. She is extremely enthusiastic with her school work, particularly the Bizarre Bazaar where she organised and knew exactly the steps that she needed to take to create a very professional looking product. Ella has the ability to brighten a room with her energy and smile. Congratulations Ella!
