Sustainability Competition - 'Speaking for the Planet'

Congratulations to Natasha R from 5L for coming runners up in the Arts-based Sustainability Competition “Speaking for the Planet”. Mrs Shaw and Miss Todeschini are super proud of the hard work and messages you have been able to send through your artwork about saving water.

From the 9th until the 20th of November, Kalinda are celebrating ‘National Recycling Week’ from Planet Ark. 

Students from Prep to Grade 6 will be learning all about the different recycling methods and how to recycle correctly. We encourage families to continue this discussion at home to learn together. You might be surprised about a few things that can/ cannot be recycled. 

In order to have quality discussions with your child, a National Recycling Week Quiz has been created as an easy, fun way to learn about recycling. It is on Google Forms and will be submitted automatically. 

The Sustainability Team challenges you to see if you can get all 15 questions correct! 

You will need Sustainability Victoria’s website ‘Can I recycle this?’ to help you with the Quiz.
