Peer Support during 2020

When remote learning transitioned to on-site learning on Wednesday 28 October, all Year 7 students and Year 10 Peer Support Leaders took part in their Final Peer Support Session for the year.

After a much-anticipated return to the program on-site, Year 7 students were able to finally meet with their group again.

Our Peer Support Program has transitioned into a Peer to Peer model and our leaders developed an exciting session for their groups. Our Peer Support Leaders prepared for their final session by taking part in a workshop. Activities were outlined and the session was finalised.

The final session, a celebration of our work, was supported by the Leadership Team to make the event extra special. Morning tea was provided for all the students as they celebrated the end of the program.

This will be held onsite at school, with Years 7 & 8 completing the course during Period 4 and Years 9 & 10 during Period 2.  Students can wear their sports uniform on the day and are encouraged to wear a coloured top representing their House.  It is also requested that students bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat.
