VCE Exams Update

Dear Students and Parents,

The ‘Guidance for students completing 2020 VCE written examinations” document released by the VCAA has been posted on Compass.  These guidelines include important information in regards to COVIDSafe measures that will be in place during VCE exams and also information about what students need to know if they are unwell on the day of their examination.

Students and parents should read through this document and take note of the following points:

  • Students must wear a face mask at all times throughout their examinations
  • Students must maintain physical distancing, keeping 1.5m away from each other at all times.
  • If a student is displaying coronavirus symptoms on the day of their exam they must not attend their exams.  They must notify the school and get tested.  This also applies to students who are waiting to receive their COVID-19 test results.  In this situation the school will help the student apply for a Derived Examination Score (DES).
  • It is important that students have evidence of a COVID-test to support their DES application.

** If a student runs into issues with public transport and feels that they may be late for their exam, they must contact the school immediately **
