Level 3/4

Level 3 & 4 News

It’s been a fantastic few weeks in Level 3 & 4!  As students have settled back into the day to day routine of onsite learning we have been lucky enough to have lots of exciting experiences, both in and out of the classroom.

In Level 3, students have had a ball in Flora and Fauna, harvesting fresh spring produce and learning more about healthy, sustainable practices. In reading, we have been focused on the strategy of summarising; and our awesome inquiry unit has continued to look at the rich culture and history of our nation’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and their vast array of languages.

As part of the Level 4 inquiry unit on Explorer’s and Navigator’s, the students were fortunate to experience a fantastic, informative virtual excursion to the Polly Woodside tall ship that docks in Melbourne. Our digital tour guide Michelle was a wealth of knowledge, and shared amazing details and visuals about the ship’s fascinating history throughout the tour. Students have also been researching and creating information reports on a topic of their choice, as part of our writing focus for Term 4.

We are all incredibly proud of the Level 3 & 4 students and the resilience and hard work they have demonstrated since the return to school! There are so many wonderful events and activities still to come this term, and we can’t wait to share them with you all. Stay healthy and safe!
