Site Tour

A small group of students were amazed, impressed and educated in the challenges and rewards of major construction work this week with an on-site visit to the Greater Shepparton Secondary College construction site. 

It was all about safety and learning as VCAL students Kade, Taj, Sean, Murfaza and Bailey were the very first GSSC students to visit the site - and they had plenty of questions for the tradies, equipment operators and site managers they met.

GSSC and builders Hansen Yuncken have plans to expand learning and work experience opportunities for our students going into 2021 in line with health restrictions. For these first lucky students, studying a range of vocational pathways and trades at GSSC and GOTAFE, today was eye-opening, invigorating and inspiring.
