Congratulations to Maggie Byrne on being selected as the Keeper in the U12 Victorian School Girls Soccer team to compete at the Nationals later this year.

Ruby Conti (7 Millward) and

Ana Karamaloudis (6 Riley)

Some amazing results for Girton students at the 2019 Australian Aerobics Gymnastics Championships with Ruby Conti (7 Millward) becoming National Aerobics Gymnastics Champion in the International Age Group 1 category. Ruby achieved the qualifying score to become a member of the Australian Squad this year.

Year 6 student, Ana Karamaloudis (6 Riley), achieved a Silver medal in the Level 6 Junior Individual category of Aerobics Gymnastics at the same event at Melbourne Arena.

Congratulations to Ruby and Ana.

Sanjano Jijo (10 Frew)

Congratulations to Sanjana Jijo who participated in the piano and classical vocal singing competitions in the Bendigo Eisteddfod this year and won the following prizes –

Piano

1st place – Grade 6 piano solo

Classical vocal section 

1st place - 16 years and under (song by an Australian Composer solo) 

2nd place - 16 years and under (Spiritual/Sacred song solo)

3rd place - 16 years and under (Art song solo) 

                                          and

1st place - 15 years to 18 years Classical Vocal Championship Solo
