The Young Initiators Project, run by the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY), uses experiential activities, group discussions, social media and self-reflection to explore leadership, diversity, values, empathy and different ideas about community. 

OPEN Symposium 2019

The Symposium will be held on Friday October 18 at the Melbourne Arts Centre. This year’s theme is The Voices That Matter.

During the Symposium, you will have the chance to hear from colleagues, experts and international guest speakers on successful programs and partnerships, learnings and challenges, innovative tools, and new initiatives. You will also hear from the individuals at the core of the sector’s services and programs.

People of all genders are invited join young female leaders to discuss leadership, empowerment and solidarity. This is a FREE event with guest speakers and panel discussion, plus the launch of a series of short videos made by young women, a cultural fashion show, networking and food.
