Senior School

As is so often the case, this has been an exciting week in the Senior School. Year 12 has been busy undertaking their Trial HSC Examinations, with students taking the opportunity to hone their exam skills and assess their understanding of the courses they have been working on for this past two years. Meanwhile, our Year 11 students have been sharing their thoughts on the characteristics, skills and challenges of leadership through Student Leadership Interviews. We will look forward to seeing our Year 12 leaders hand over to their Year 11 successors in coming weeks. For all our students, our Winter Sport season is slowly drawing to a close, with many of our teams training for Semi-Finals. It is our long experience that our students thrive amidst the hubbub!

In the midst of all this, I encourage families to note some of the key points in our COVID Safety Plan. Importantly, please ensure that should students have even mild cold and flu symptoms, they remain home and undertake a COVID test. Further, should students become household contacts, they are permitted to come to School but should undertake a RAHT test each day for five school-days and should wear a mask when indoors. I would also ask parents to remind their children that masks remain mandatory on buses (both public and our own School-buses).
