It’s been an exciting fortnight in PE!
Here are some of the highlights:
Level 5/6 Hoop Time
On Monday the 18th of July, 58 of our Level 5/6 students competed in the Hoop Time Basketball tournament at Dandenong stadium. It was a fantastic day of competition with lots of fun had by all the students. All six Rangeview teams had some fantastic results across the day, special mention to our Future Stars mixed team who just fell short in the Grand Final and congratulations to our Boys All Star who have progressed to the Regional finals in November. Thank you to all the parents and teachers who came along to coach and support on the day. Go Rangeview!!!
AFL Girls Gala Day
On Wednesday the 27th of July our Level 5/6 girls competed in the Whitehorse division gala day. Our team competed extremely well all day in very difficult muddy conditions finishing 2nd in their group. They won their first game against Mitcham 70-2, their second game they defeated Box Hill Nth 55-12 and had a narrow loss 16-18 in their final game against Wattle Park. Thank you to all the parents who came along to support on the day & a special mention to Heather for stepping in as goal umpire for all three games.
