Australian Mathematics Competition

The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) is offered each year by the Australian Mathematics Trust.  The AMC is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives.

This year the competition will take place online between Wednesday 4th August and Friday 6th August (Term 3 Week 4). Students from Years 7–10 are welcome to enter. This is a great opportunity for students to challenge themselves, especially in the area of problem-solving. Nominations are due by Friday 16th July (Term 3 Week 1). Please click here to express your interest. The cost for the competition is $6.50 per entry including GST.

I look forward to seeing many interested Mathematics students having a go.
