District Cross Country

Congratulations to all of the students who ran in the Ringwood North District Cross Country on Wednesday the 26th of May. 

The event was held at Quambee Reserve for the first time so the course was new to all our students. It was hard – it included lots of hills and even sand running.

All our students run exceptionally well and represented Kalinda so well, supporting and cheering one another on. 

Kalinda finished in 6th place overall out of 11 schools, which is a great outcome. 

A special congratulations to Rory G, Blake G, Ava J, Zoe F, Douglas H, Belle W, Amy M and Fraser G who all finished in the top 10 for their respective races and are through to the Division Cross Country. Also congratulations to Aiden B who finished 12th and is listed as our emergency for this event. We wish our runners all the best at the next level of competition.
