Year 11
Japanese Excursion
Year 11
Japanese Excursion
On Thursday, 13th May, Year 11 Japanese students visited the University of Technology, Sydney. They experienced a 90-minute Japanese university lesson in particular, and learned more advanced grammar by analysing, decoding, translating and creating sentences with university students. It was also great opportunity for them to talk about their pathway.
After the intense Japanese lesson, our students visited Japan Foundation library, Yakitori Yebisu restaurant for lunch, the Japanese grocery shop Maruyu and the famous Kinokuniya bookshop. There were many places we could find “Japan” and experience the Japanese-speaking community in Sydney.
Tanoshikatta! (It was enjoyable day!)
