Stage 2 Excursion to the Kedumba Gallery

On Friday, 14th May, Stage 2 students from both Junior campuses visited the Kedumba Gallery, which is on the Wentworth Falls School grounds, in the former Headmaster's Residence.

Mrs Plummer, curator of the Gallery and the School's Archivist, guided the children through the extensive artworks, sharing the history of the Kedumba Award and the reasons why they have the selected the artworks in their collection. 

The students engaged in a drawing activity where they were inspired by the artworks in the gallery and they reflected on which artworks resonated with them. The community is welcome to contact Mrs Plummer to book a time to view the collection. 

This was a wonderful opportunity to build and grow the students’ knowledge and appreciation for art.
