In the coming weeks our teachers will be spending time with our students to see how they are progressing in their learning. Students will participate in PAT testing and other assessments so that we can track their growth. It's an exciting and busy time for all of us.
Last Thursday our School Improvement Team attended the School Wide Improvement Forum (SWIF) with 200 other leaders in the southern Catholic schools network to reflect on the great learning and teaching done this year, especially in the area of Mathematics. As teachers we never stop learning - just like our students! We can't wait to see what Term 4 will bring.
Recently some students in 3/4 and 5/6 took part in this annual challenge! It was great to see students pushing their thinking and applying reasoning to solve some tricky challenges. Congratuations to Hudson H., Cynric, Ned, Luca R., Torsten, Zack, Louie, Dom, Lucy, Harlen and Sienna R.
On Thursday October 13th our 1/2 students had the most fabulous time at Don Bosco camp in Safety Beach. Although it rained (and rained and rained!), no spirits were dampened! Students enjoyed a range of activities and, of course, FOOD! Thanks to our sensational staff Mrs Catalani, Mrs Willcourt , Mrs Atkinson, Mrs Senior and Kelly for their organisation and creating the opportunity for students to participate as part of our camp program. We also thank Paul Poutney, manager of Don Bosco camp and Fatima parent for hosting a fantastic day!
